I bought a 200mW 532nm Kaleidoscope Green Laser Pointer and is it safe to take off the lens cover and use it?

basic answer is yes, but being 200mw, you DEFINITELY dont want to get it in your eyes, light of that power will instantly burn your retinas and cause almost instant blindness. USE the goggles it should have come with, if not, then i dont reccomend removing the safety cover. Blindness from lasers is a scary thing cause it takes about 24 hours for the cells in your retina to actually die, so pretty much, youll wake up completely and permanately blind and never knew what happened. :/
