This guy flirts with me all the time but does this mean he likes me....?

ok, so there this guy in my homeroom that is really cute. He flirts with me alot, like he tickels me and trys to talk to me alot. ive also noticed that he looks at me alot too. But im not sure if he likes me or if hes just flirt. He also went out with one of my friends but i asked her about and she said she wouldnt care if i went for him. i need some advice expecially from boys. =] thankss.
