Why are pagans so judgemental?

I know many pagans. My whole family except for me, I am an Agnostic Theist, is pagan. It seems that every pagan I meet, with the exception of one, is extremely biased against other religions. Whenever the topic of religion comes up pagans are more than willing to express their distaste for religions which aren't theirs, particularly Catholicism. They also seem to be attracted to their own martyrdom. Knowing so many pagans I obviously spend a fair amount of time with them. I have never seen anyone mistreat them because of their beliefs. So how can pagans adamantly preach tolerance for their own religion when they are blatantly prejudice against others?
