What could cause early menopause and/or what are the symptoms?

Usually there is no known cause. But some known causes are smoking, problems with galactose, radiation and chemotherapy, genetic conditions like fragile X syndrome. Symptoms include hot flashes, fatigue, depression, dry skin, dry , painful , periods stop or become light or very irregular, infertility.
