How can SOME women turn their husbands against their morals and parents just like that?

Here is the deal, you only have ONE side of the story. My parents (mostly my mother) are vile liars and would say this kind of thing about my husband just to gain sympathy with their friends. My husband is kind and gentle and fiercely protective of our son and I. He did not ask their "permission" to marry me and they have hated him for the last ten years because of this! My mother actually refused to use his name and just called him the SOB (but actually used the words). When she came to be there when my son was born she claimed that every time she tried to hold the baby my hubby or I would snatch him up before she could get him. That is the BIGGEST load of it I have ever heard! I did hold the baby a lot because I feed and as an infant he ate like once an hour! But we didn't stop her from holding him! When my sister got married she offered to buy my ticket to the wedding and when I asked for the return flight info she asked in a baffled voice,"Why would you want to go back to him?" I told her unless there was a return ticket I would have to miss the wedding! But I swear to you, if you met my parents you would think they are the sweetest people in the world and I was a vile person and my husband was straight up abusive to them, me and our son (never has been, never will be!)
